What is the difference in performance between cut-off teeth with and without a wear layer?

Cutting gear is a key component of mining machinery, its main function is to cut off the rock or coal mine. As they are subjected to high impact and abrasion during the mining process, they need to be wear-resistant to ensure their service life. In order to improve the wear resistance of the cut-off teeth, manufacturers usually add a wear-resistant layer on the surface of the cut-off teeth. This layer effectively improves the wear resistance and service life of the gears. However, the performance of wear-resistant layers may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, and the following is a discussion of the differences in performance between interceptors with and without wear-resistant layers.

Firstly, a cut-off tooth with a wear layer can withstand high intensity wear.
